So for the past couple weeks I’ve been really interested in making music.
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved singing and writing songs, but I never had the music knowledge to actually create them.
I took a few weeks of piano in 2018, but health problems quickly made me quit that. I only learned enough to play Jingle Bells, anyway. So what could I do?
Well… I’M A SELF-TAUGHT GAL THROUGH AND THROUGH. Google, hit me up with “how to make a beat”.
I hopped on that keyboard, pulled up that GarageBand, and fooled around.
See, I love music. It’s my favorite thing, like, ever. It has impacted my life in so many ways (which is why it’s important to listen to wholesome music). And I wanted to create the stuff I wanted to listen to.
I made a lot of stuff. It wasn’t very good. I mean, the stuff I make still isn’t very good. But at least it’s better, kind of?
ANYWAY DO YOU WANT TO HEAR MY NEW SONG???

Soooo what do you think? No don’t insincerely compliment, I want your brutally honest opinion so I can improve. Rip this thing to shreds so I can know what to fix!

Ok, so here’s my honest opinion. (I’m being a bit critical, but just because you asked.)
First of all, I really like the fact that you’re making music! I feel like you have potential in the industry. This was a good first single.
However, it’s not something I would just be like, “I love this song!”
I like instrumental music, don’t get me wrong. But I like music where there is a melody. This would work better if there was vocals attached, or even just an instrument that plays a melody instead of just repeated noises. This song was also very repetitive, but not exactly in a good way.
Also, that bridge felt out of place. It would probably work better with vocals.
Anyway, this is definitely a great start, and it kind of gives me ‘Blinding Lights’ vibes. I like it, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
But I mean, you don’t have to listen to me! I’ve never made music before, so I definitely am not the person to ask. Keep being awesome!

Great song! If you are looking for a easy instrument, try the guitar. Since you have experience in piano, it shouldn’t be to hard to play. Plus it is really easy to make your own songs on it.
Here is my opinion, The ending could be (idk how to say it) more pronounced. The rest of the song was great! I love how upbeat it is!

So good! If you ever need help with lyrics(when you get there of course) I’m the one to ask! I love the tune you have going on. But I feel like right before the course(can’t spell IDK how its spelled) I think there should be a quick beat drop so that way it’s distinguishable.

This is so fun! Personally not a style I would listen to except maybe at a dance or something, but the way you set up each tune and beat sounds like they run very smoothly together. Not sure how I feel about the beginning with the chorus (idk what to call them XD). They don’t quite match, but it could still work. I can’t wait to see what else you do! <3 😀
